You need at least 10% free space on that one for the system to function properly.

That’s a good size for a c: drive if you dedicate it for the OS and perhaps some other applications, but since most games today tend to sniff at the 100GB marker you really don’t have much choice but to buy at least one more drive. And if I remember correctly (not at the computer at the moment) all of them can be uninstalled in the content manager.Īs a general rule of thumb you should leave C: to the OS and preferably not have anything else on there, especially if the drive is 255GB. But perhaps you have the Steam version? Don’t know what the deal was with that.Īs far as the world updates goes none of them have been installed automatically for me. In all means my post remains active as a wish, installation process was a mess of a strategy. Still wonder what causes this masses of download quantities if not for scenery. i should have refered to the download quantity in general, not refering to global scenery stakes. The big updates worked without problems, till the most recent which stopped somewhere in the final refering to lack of storage space. pretty messy now underknief my desk, thank you microsobo.Ĭan’t tell how angered i was about this tiletantic urge. To avoid uninstalling windows, and the fact that there was enough space on the native drive (including later add-ons) i transfered everything other than win and fs away to other ssds, which i purchased for that very reason.

I downloaded the pro-version initially and then whenever an update was released, i updated it. in my memories the classic structures of fsx and x-plane still dominates. thank you you concluded, i miss a clear understanding of the download architecture as we know them from other games.
